The old Huddersfield Town ground
This football ground has been superseded by a new stadium on the other side of the river which has had various names over the years, see the Wikipedia entry at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kirklees_Stadium ; see Image for another view of this older ground. The occasion here was not a football match but a celebration of 100 years of the Anglican Diocese of Wakefield.

Old Milestone by the A62, Leeds Road, Huddersfield
Carved stone post by the A62, in parish of HUDDERSFIELD (KIRKLEES District), Leeds Road, Huddersfield, by No. 264, between pedestrian crossing and Bradley Mills Road, in pavement by low stone wall, on East side of road. Huddersfield 'To - From' stone, erected by the Birstall & Huddersfield turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : TO / HUDDERSFIELD / 1 / MILE : : FROM / HUDDERSFIELD / 1 / MILE : Milestone Society National ID: YW_XHTF06.

Chanting on the terraces?
The "crowd" here in the old Huddersfield Town ground Image were not football supporters but a choir singing at a celebration of 100 years of the Anglican Diocese of Wakefield. This football ground has been superseded by the Macalpine (later Galpharm and then John Smiths) Stadium on the other side of the river - photo submitted to show a detail of the stands for posterity.
