Carved stone post by the A62, in parish of HUDDERSFIELD (KIRKLEES District), Leeds Road, Huddersfield, by No. 264, between pedestrian crossing and Bradley Mills Road, in pavement by low stone wall, on East side of road. Huddersfield 'To - From' stone, erected by the Birstall & Huddersfield turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : TO / HUDDERSFIELD / 1 / MILE : : FROM / HUDDERSFIELD / 1 / MILE : Milestone Society National ID: YW_XHTF06.
