Goods lines near Kew Bridge station
The lines here carry no scheduled passenger service (and it will be seen are not electrified, so inaccessible for the third-rail stock used for passenger trains in this part of the capital) but connect the line in towards London via Barnes Bridge with the North London line towards Willesden Junction.

Disused Kew Bridge station
North of Kew Bridge is a triangle of railway lines. The present Kew Bridge station on the Hounslow Loop Line is on the southern side of the triangle. The north-western and north-eastern sides once had passenger services and stations but both are now freight only. The latter's station was for terminating North London trains. The platforms of this disused Kew Bridge station seen here from Chiswick High Road were first used in 1862 and closed to passengers in 1940.

Below is the site of the further platforms 3 and 4 of Kew bridge station, these were closed in 1940. That on the right (4) is more or less intact, that on the left appears to have been removed. The curve has no scheduled passenger services now.

Stratton Gentry, Lionel Road South
The one-time coal office situated in the triangle of the railway tracks at Kew Bridge. It has seen subsequent use by RSR Fasteners, who have since moved to Hayes in Middlesex. The area behind, which presumably was once used to store coal, holds piles of hardcore for London's building sites.
