The open air theatre in Little Wood
Little Wood was once joined to the nearby Big Wood but was already separated from it by the time of the First Edition Ordnance Survey at the start of the 19th century. Little Wood though is less natural than Big Wood as ornamental shrubs have been planted, especially in the centre. Within the wood can be found this tiny, open air theatre which was built in 1920 with a stage area at ground level and small changing rooms - the wooden hut seen at http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4700538. A play is presented around midsummer each year by "The Garden Suburb Theatre".

Erskine Hill
This road climbs south out of the valley of Mutton Brook, before turning southeast to connect with North Square. Parking spaces seem to be at a premium here. There are several nice size trees.
