Front Street, Sandbach
This now dead-end street may once have been the main road leading east from the town centre. The houses, as a group, are listed grade 2 (list entry number 1130390); the listing states they were built in 1861 for Lord Crewe (presumably he did not live here himself).

Christian symbols in St Mary's east window
The middle section of the window contains ten symbols of God. Clockwise from top left: IHS (the name of Jesus), Lamb of God, I Am, the Holy Spirit, Alpha and Omega, A stag (maybe referencing Psalm 42, thirsting for God), the Instruments of the Passion, the Chalice or Holy Grail, the Crown of Thorns, and a pelican (symbol of piety). One source says that much of the glass in the church is by William Wales, but I don't know whether that includes this window. See Image for the whole window.

Tetragrammaton in St Mary's east window
One of ten symbols of God in the window Image This central one comprises the Star of David enclosing the 'Tetragrammaton' (the Hebrew name for God, which is not supposed to be pronounced, but ultimately gives us the English name Jehovah). See Image for the whole window, which is either part of or later than George Gilbert Scott's 19th century restoration. One source says that much of the glass in the church is by William Wales, but I don't know whether that includes the main east window.

St Mary's church, Sandbach
Surprisingly none of the other contributors who have covered the centre of this historic market town had Geographed the 15th century, grade II* listed parish church. This view from The Hill is scanned from an old slide but I will submit a contemporary photo later!

East end of St Mary's parish church, Sandbach
The parish church of St Mary is built on a low hill overlooking the Dingle Brook, the "sandy stream" that gave Sandbach its name. This is the clearest view of the church; other viewpoints are obscured by trees. See Image for an earlier image from 1989.
