One of ten symbols of God in the window Image This central one comprises the Star of David enclosing the 'Tetragrammaton' (the Hebrew name for God, which is not supposed to be pronounced, but ultimately gives us the English name Jehovah). See Image for the whole window, which is either part of or later than George Gilbert Scott's 19th century restoration. One source says that much of the glass in the church is by William Wales, but I don't know whether that includes the main east window.
