Hill Crest Road
Laid out in the 1920s as the town of Newhaven expanded southward. It follows the contours of the hill the town is built on running south then west from Bayvue Road.

Hillcrest Centre
Home to a community centre which provides a number of facilities including a cafe and a nursery. The building was originally a school built during the first decade of the 20th century eventually becoming Newhaven Secondary School before it moved to a site at the top of Gibbon school in the late 1960s. The car park on the right was formerly part of Western Road which ran parallel with Image to the top of the hill before turning south.

Neill's Close

Nun's Walk
Footpath linking Image to Image and a case whereby a local name for a footpath eventually becomes the official one. The footpath skirted lands belonging to the former Convent of the Sacred Heart based in nearby Church Hill.

Bay Vue Road
Running downhill from the point it connects with Western Road and the junction of Hill Crest Road when it becomes Hillside for the rest of its journey down to South Road. It originates from the first decade of the 20th century when it was known as Bay View which was changed to Bay Vue during the 1930s and the Road added after the Second World War. The houses on the left seem to be prefabs from the immediate postwar era.
