The eastern end of this public footpath from Turbary Park Avenue. The semi-detached houses on Maclean Road are typical of this large council estate. This Elizabeth II-reign postbox, at the corner of a grassy patch between road and houses, is emptied finally at 5:30pm on weekdays and at 12:30pm on Saturdays.

This little alleyway reaches the driveway running behind the houses. The route of the public footpath then splits - footpath U01 turns right onto the driveway, then left to meet Turbary Park Avenue; while one could turn left along the driveway, then right, on the route numbered U02 to meet Turbary Park Avenue a bit further along. Public footpath U01 makes use of the driveway, with an alley to Maclean Road just ahead and a path to Turbary Park Avenue a short distance behind us. The alleyway to Maclean Road is just ahead, opposite the lamppost. A similar public footpath route, number U02, heads up the driveway in the background. On the left is a derelict building - I'm not sure what it was, or whether it was municipal or belongs to the house whose back garden it is in. Public footpath U01 comes up the alleyway from Maclean Road (left), and goes along the driveway behind us to take a similar offshoot path to Turbary Park Avenue. Meanwhile, the driveway ahead forms the start of footpath U02, which likewise turns right onto Turbary Park Avenue. Between Turbary Park Avenue and Maclean Road, this drive provides vehicle access (complete with speed-bumps) to the rear gardens most of which are in an interesting state of disrepair.
