Shore Street
It all looks quite lively, but when you look more closely, almost all the shops have closed, and the coffee shop in the first floor of the white building next to the Bank of Scotland, memorable for its tomato soup (that's the coffee shop, not the bank), is also looking a bit deserted. Maybe it will come back to life as summer approaches.

Macduff Lifeboat
The wall divides the inner harbour beyond from the outer harbour. The lifeboat is being unloaded from its lorry to give a demonstration as part of the run-up to the yacht race to Stavanger. Shore Street is on the right.

The shutter matches the door, and it looks as if neither has been much used recently. The broken rhone has been colonised by a stonecrop, probably Biting Stonecrop.
