The Queen's Parlour
The ridge along the eastern side of the Severn Valley is formed of rich but loose sandstones. Many caves and diggings have been hewn and this prominent outcrop is known as the Queen's Parlour - referring to a mythical monarch, akin to the fairy world. See Image] for a wider view of the valley.

Caves at The Hermitage
Two of the caves in the soft sandstone just south of the main road out of Bridgnorth. The entrances are about 4' high, and the caves behind them are really only big enough to lie down in if you're small, or very good friends with someone else in a couple of cases.
