Wyrley & Essington Canal near Becks Bridge
Not for nothing is this canal affectionately known as the 'Curly Wurly'; it is seldom straight for long. Here a narrowboat has passed under Becks Bridge and is heading towards Pelsall.

Potters Clay & Coal Co, Brownhills
Now Potclays and supplying clay to the pottery industry. In 1984 the plant was very traditional and similar to that to be seen at Middleport Pottery in 2020. These are a pair of motor driven blungers by William Boulton of Burslem. They would have originally have been driven by the disused steam engine on site. On the extreme right is part of a ball mill (or at least that's what I think it is).
