Footpath past Kerry Foods
This is the site of Healey Old Mills. Kerry Foods manufacture a wide variety of foods, and I don't know what specifically is made here. Pedestrians should not wander off the marked footpath area.

Footpath junction by Healey Old Mills
The path has been going round the edge of the Kerry Foods site. The Kirklees Way takes the left fork and there is a small marker on the footpath sign.

Fields at Healey
The land rises up the side of the Calder valley to Ossett which is at the top of the hill. The farmland is used only for livestock, mostly horses although there are some sheep.

Footpath to Runtlings
Runtlings is a suburb of Ossett and can be seen at the top of the hill. This is a gentle climb away from the River Calder.

The bottom of Healey Road
There is a conglomeration of industrial activity in the small village of Healey, including Ossett Brewery. The 102 bus terminates here and waits a while before starting the return route.
