River Pinn, Yiewsley: fenced off
It's not a pleasant sight. This part of the River Pinn (looking upstream) is fenced off, for the dangers it presents, as its about to flow under the Grand Union Canal. A beautiful small tranquil river flowing through west London, but here things change for the next few metres. This area is a total mess. See other two images of this site.

Bridge at the Slough Arm of the canal
Another point on the London Loop between West Drayton and Uxbridge - along with Stockley Park - where the route digresses from the Grand Union Canal before returning to it later.

River Pinn going under the Grand Union Canal
It's not a pleasant sight, and with little to no water movement. Once under canal things improve a great deal, by flowing through a wooded area which is difficult to access. Then in three hundred metres the River Pinn flows into the Fray’s River. See other two images of this site.

Smoking seats opposite Cowley Peachey Junction
There are factories to the left and I'm pretty sure that these benches have been put here for their smokers. In the early part of the 21st century it became illegal to smoke inside public buildings, including offices and factories, so many places installed places outside for their smokers to sit. No sides or roof because that would make it a building. Just to the right of the pipe carrying bridge is the junction of the Slough Arm of the Grand Union Canal.

Footbridge over River Pinn, by the Grand Union Canal, Greater London
It's not a pleasant sight. Footbridge to the canal, crossing over the River Pinn, as its about to go under the Grand Union Canal. This area is used for fly-tipping. This site was the location where the West Drayton to Uxbridge Vine Street railway crossed over the Grand Union Canal. No evident is left of the bridge or railway. See other two images of this site.
