River Brent old channel
One of a number of stretches of the River Brent that were bypasses when it was canalised to become the Grand Union Canal. It includes a sluice weir (behind the new buildings) to regulate the flow in the canal.

Rubbish collection (2)

Rubbish collection
This boat had an outrigger on the far side (hidden in this picture) which was sweeping up floating rubbish which could then be fished out into the well of the boat.

Baltimore, narrowboat in Brentford Lock basin
The name panel shows the name "Baltimore" and also beside it "Taylor Robinson". The pontoon is the mooring for The Island apartment blocks.
