Ruin by River Crane
This is probably the remains of a glazing mill, that appears on late Victorian maps, possibly in association with a gravel pit shown to the west of this point. It is further north than the location of the old Bedfont Powder Mills, on a separate but adjacent site.

The London Loop follows the River Crane for a considerable distance in Hounslow. Here in Donkey Wood it is just out of sight to the left.

Boardwalk carrying the London LOOP through Donkey Woods
The London LOOP follows the River Crane for some considerable distance from Hounslow Heath to the Grand Union Canal at Southall. This is north of Baber Bridge where the LOOP continues through Donkey Woods. The river can just be seen to the right. The boardwalk continues for quite a long way.
