Benedick Cottage
What must formerly have been quite an isolated cottage on the old A38 road by Benedicts (sic) Bridge at Coldeast is now at the edge of a considerable estate of modern housing. On the left is Benedicts Road which runs through the estate.

Start of footpath to Trago Mills
This entrance is from the old A38 close to Benedicts Bridge. The path follows the north bank of the Liverton Brook, and both path and brook go through a tunnel under the A38 dual carriageway (see Image] ). The path then gets rather lost in the Trago Mills car park complex.

Orchids, Coldeast
A path leading from Trago Mills beneath the A38 crosses a meadow to reach the old main road at Benedicts Bridge, and these orchids (Common Spotted, Dactylorchis fuchsii, I think) grow there.

The old road to Benedicts Bridge
This track was superseded by the straighter A38, which was then replaced by the dual carriageway A38 Devon Expressway bypassing the village of Liverton. This road is now a path and access to houses
