It?s a cop out
Presumably due to cutbacks in funding, the police force has resorted to a life-size cut-out figure holding a speed gun to deter motorists from speeding near Berwickshire High School at Duns. I believe this cardboard cut-out figure has been named Pop-up Bob in other police areas.

Welcome to Duns twinned with Zagan Poland, sign
Duns was the county town of the historic county of Berwickshire in the Scottish Borders. During the Second World War many Polish soldiers of the first and second Armoured Regiments were stationed here at Duns 1941-1944. In Duns Park there is a memorial dedicated to the 127 Polish soldiers who were stationed here and were killed in battle 1944-1945.
