Utility and survey
Some familiar urban signs on the wall of a dentists surgery. A fire hydrant plate, denoting the size of supply pipe and distance from the plate, and an Ordnance Survey benchmark (dating from the nineteenth century) above it. From Station Road to Bridge Street, Taunton
The lamppost marks the transition from Station Road to Bridge Street.

Chip Lane
One of Taunton's old lanes remains part of the present. The lane reaches to the junction of Staplegrove Road and Station Road. There is also a flush bracket here on the side wall after the entrance - see Image
