Unmodernised cottage in Hook-a-Gate near Shrewsbury
This old cottage and its associated outbuildings have yet to come into the 21st century and recall earlier years. Alas old corrugated sheds and original features are getting rarer and rarer sights.

Old Milestone by Three Mile Cottage, Hook-a-gate
Metal plate attached to stone post by the UC road, in parish of Longden (Shrewsbury and Atcham District), Hook-a-gate, by Three Mile Cottage on pavement, on Northwest side of road. Erected by the Shrewsbury to Longden & Castle Pulverbach turnpike trust in the 19th century.
Inscription reads:-
