Merton: The Path
As regards motor vehicles, The Path is no through road, as it just gives access to the Nelson Trading Area. The houses at the further end of 'The Path' are older, and have the numbers 2 to 14, evens. The nearer, newer, block of houses were given the numbers 2A to 8A, evens.

Nelson Gardens, South Wimbledon
Nelson Gardens is a small park in South Wimbledon, in the suburbs of south west London.
The gardens were created in 1905, to mark the centenary of Lord Nelson's death, although they did not open to the public until 1906. Lord Nelson is commemorated by a memorial stone flanked by two cannons.
