Nelson Gardens is a small park in South Wimbledon, in the suburbs of south west London. The gardens were created in 1905, to mark the centenary of Lord Nelson's death, although they did not open to the public until 1906. Lord Nelson is commemorated by a memorial stone flanked by two cannons. More information about the gardens is on the London Gardens Online website: http://londongardensonline.org.uk/gardens-online-record.php?ID=MER039 For more information about the memorial to Lord Nelson, see the London Remembers website: https://www.londonremembers.com/memorials/nelson-sw19
