No entry sign at Morden Station
Using the London Transport 'Gibson' font, road signs on LT roads use their own designs, a few are the same as the national versions besides the font, but most are their own designs like this one. Using satellite view it appears to be the exit to the staff car park, the entrance is just to the right by Sainsbury's.

Morden Station
A view of the Station forecourt with the imposing entrance designed by Charles Holden. The station was flanked by parades of shops when it opened in 1926 and Holden had designed it with upward development in mind. The offices above were added in 1960. The curved building in beyond the station is Merton Civic Centre.
The curved bus on the left isn't a bendy bus - it's an example of Barrel Distortion, a common problem at wide angles with zoom lenses :-)

Morden Station, London Transport
This station is at the southern extremity of the Northern Line and is an important interchange point, with many bus routes starting from here or calling here. Sadly as a consequence of inter-railway politics in the years after World War I, it does not give interchange to any heavy-rail station. If sense had prevailed, Northern Line trains would have achieved access to the 'Wall of Death' line and thus terminated at Sutton rather than here.

Hard to Hear
A young lady tries to have a telephone conversation outside Morden Underground Station. With all the passengers coming and going and the buses on the forecourt close by she's clearly having a hard time of it.
When Charles Holden designed the station, which opened in 1926, he incorporated a parade of shops in the design and these remain in use - Morden Supermarket behind is an example.
