Morden Station

A view of the Station forecourt with the imposing entrance designed by Charles Holden. The station was flanked by parades of shops when it opened in 1926 and Holden had designed it with upward development in mind. The offices above were added in 1960. The curved building in beyond the station is Merton Civic Centre. The curved bus on the left isn't a bendy bus - it's an example of Barrel Distortion, a common problem at wide angles with zoom lenses :-)
