A young lady tries to have a telephone conversation outside Morden Underground Station. With all the passengers coming and going and the buses on the forecourt close by she's clearly having a hard time of it. When Charles Holden designed the station, which opened in 1926, he incorporated a parade of shops in the design and these remain in use - Morden Supermarket behind is an example.
