Lost in a submarine in the First World War - Charlton Cemetery

The British submarine HMS H-3 was mined while attempting to penetrate the Austrian anchorage at Cattaro in the Adriatic sea. She was lost with all 21 hands. William Frazier was a Leading Stoker.

Top end of Maryon Wilson Park
The Green Chain Walk climbs steadily from the Thames through Maryon Park and then Maryon Wilson Park to reach the exit opposite Cemetery Lane. This view looks up the last part of the park to where a bus waits at the stop in Littleheath.

War memorial in Charlton Cemetery
This "Gentlemen’s Cemetery" was founded in 1855, and has fine monuments to Admirals, Governors, Lords of the Manor and Knights of the Realm. The war memorial is just inside the gate and can be seen from Cemetery Lane.
