South Norwood Clock Tower
Situated in the centre of South Norwood High Street, Selhurst Road, Station Road and Oliver Grove, this well known south London landmark was erected in 1907 by the residents of South Norwood to commemorate W.F.Stanley's Golden Wedding. Stanley was a famous South Norwood inhabitant, known for his drawing instrument works, foundry and saw mills alongside the railway at South Norwood. His name has been lent to the local Technical School - and Wetherspoons pub on the high street!

Library, Selhurst Road
An interesting building, not at all run of the mill, designed by Croydon's Borough Architect, Hugh Lea, in 1966-68. Lots of glass with prominent mullions, and a projecting section of ribbed concrete. Not obvious from the picture, but the black blob is actually the word "library".
Attached to the right of the library is a late-C19th building currently used as a youth centre.
