An interesting building, not at all run of the mill, designed by Croydon's Borough Architect, Hugh Lea, in 1966-68. Lots of glass with prominent mullions, and a projecting section of ribbed concrete. Not obvious from the picture, but the black blob is actually the word "library". Attached to the right of the library is a late-C19th building currently used as a youth centre.
