Signs of the deconstruction process of this Olympic & Paralympic Games site used during the summer of 2012 to house the temporary archery and shooting facilities adjacent to Circular Way. Circular Way, seen here temporarily obstructed by gates, links Woolwich Common (Road) - behind the photographer - with Ha-ha Road, through the gates.

A cluster of temporary (?) cycle security-stands on Woolwich Common, adjacent to the perimeter security fence that was erected around the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic archery and shooting facilities near the Woolwich Common Road side of the site.

This tarmac-surfaced path has been (re)created after the 2012 Olympics. It is signed as non-entry for motorbikes; by implication pedal cycles are permitted.

The Royal Artillery Barracks were the venue for the shooting events at the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics (and the archery events at the latter). For the rifle and pistol competitions, these temporary pavilions were built, to a design of Magma Architecture. They are skinned in white PVC with pink dimples, which serve for entrance/exits (at ground level) or ventilation, as well as keeping the PVC in tension, On the right is the qualifying range for the 10m and 50m pistol and rifle events (the 25m qualifying range being in a separate structure), and in the background is the finals hall, used for all events.

To get to the North Circular Road by the shortest route from here, it is necessary to take the Woolwich Free Ferry.
