Romford bus garage - Seymer Road frontage
The garage was opened in 1953 by London Transport and since the privatisation of London's buses that began in 1994 has been owned by companies within the Stagecoach group, its current owners being Stagecoach London. It is sometimes referred to as North Street garage to distinguish it from another London Transport garage that until 1977 was to be found elsewhere in the town. Buses enter the garage from Seymer Road and exit at the other end into Park Drive.

Junction of North Street and A12 Eastern Avenue
This is North Street where it meets the A12 Eastern Avenue. There is a small streetlight replacement scheme going on at this junction due to the amount of streetlights which have been crashed into, this particular one being quite an extreme casualty; it is leaning quite badly and is thus being replaced by a modern installation. The store in the background is Brooms Furniture Ltd. View taken looking east-southeast from the Eastern Avenue.

External view of Romford Bus Garage (2)
This view of Romford bus garage shows Seymer Road to the garage entrance to the left of the photo. It was built on the site of allotments and opened in August 1953. Formerly a London Transport bus garage, it saw several changes in ownership from 1979 until 2010 when Stagecoach took it over for the second time, the first being in September 1994. Buses allocated to this garage have the letters NS inscribed on their sides, they referring to North Street where the garage is located. The banner advertising the Open Day being held at the garage can be seen to the right of the photo, https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/7469083 refers.
