River Rom in Romford
An algal growth has formed a scummy layer on top of the river in this reach just downstream of the Cedar Road culvert and soon attracts litter. On the left is a water level gaugeboard. Each black and white bar on the board is one centimetre wide, and the top of the topmost black bar is 17 metres above sea level.

External view of Romford Bus Garage (2)
This view of Romford bus garage shows Seymer Road to the garage entrance to the left of the photo. It was built on the site of allotments and opened in August 1953. Formerly a London Transport bus garage, it saw several changes in ownership from 1979 until 2010 when Stagecoach took it over for the second time, the first being in September 1994. Buses allocated to this garage have the letters NS inscribed on their sides, they referring to North Street where the garage is located. The banner advertising the Open Day being held at the garage can be seen to the right of the photo, https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/7469083 refers.
