Chalgrove allotments

Flying sheep?
This long thin field, enclosed by the main road through Chalgrove and its bypass, is itself surrounded by a concrete post and wire fence. This is identical to the adjacent one surrounding Chalgrove airfield, suggesting that the field is owned by the military. However, whilst the main airfield is leased to a company that makes ejector seats this field is used for sheep grazing. Shakespeare's Way passes.

Bus stop at Mill Lane
Mill Lane is to the right. Chalgrove High Street, used by the bus route, is straight ahead, which is also the route of Shakespeare's Way, which we are walking.

Thatched cottage, High Street
Chalgrove is a linear village, with a mix of old houses and newer infill. The old houses are usually much prettier, such as this one. Shakespeare's Way goes along the High Street.
