Harvest time on Trowell Moor
It's hard to believe from this view but just beyond the trees on the horizon towards the right of the picture are the first houses within the city boundary of Nottingham. This corridor of farmland is bounded on the west by the M1 at Trowell.

Bridleway Leading From Trowell Road
The tarmac ends at the house in the trees and this becomes a rutted footpath.

Footpath Ends Here
The map gives the impression that there is a through way, but clearly the right of way that looks as if it once existed has been revoked. The sign at the start of the footpath has been damaged to an extent which means that the information that the footpath is a dead end is unclear.
