Haughton Strother Farmhouse
Haughton Strother Farmhouse is a typical Northumbrian farmstead group of the 18th century. There is a farmhouse of two storeys arranged around a central doorway; the outbuilding - unspecific to a single purpose - is attached. There has been only limited embellishments of the construction materials. This is a Grade II Listed Building protected by law.

Tram (derelict), Haughton Strother
As we were leaving Haughton Strother we noticed what we thought might be a horse drawn tram and it appeared it may have been used as a greenhouse. We noticed another one down a track. On both you could still the patterns of the
livery and on one the outline for the coat of arms for Newcastle upon Tyne. After investigating further on the internet and contacting Beamish Museum they are electric tram saloons, probably type “B”.

Livery Pattern from Derelict Tram
Part of the livery pattern could still be clearly seen. The pattern is definitely from a Newcastle tram which was verified from old photos and reconstructions of trams at Beamish Open Air Museum.
