Woodhouse College
Originally a House belonging to a plasterer, the building became Woodhouse Grammar school in 1925. Its current role is as a 6th Form College. Although the gates bear the word college, its past role as a school is still visible on the gate post on the right.
On the extreme right of the photo are two Finchley Parish boundary markers. The taller one dates to 1864 and carries the words Finchley Parish. The shorter one simply carries the letters FBP and 1910.

Woodhouse Road
Looking towards Friern Barnet from the junction with Hilton Avenue. At this point the road is bordered by a housing estate to the south and playing fields to the north.
A 221 bus heads toward North Finchley. The route runs between Turnpike Lane and Edgware, but this particular bus is turning short at North Finchley. The vehicle is a Wright Gemini bodied Volvo of Arriva.
