Cycle/walk path through Meikle Earnock, Hamilton
The path follows the route of the old Hamilton to Strathaven railway line. The line closed in 1953 when all the collieries along the route had closed

Informal woodland park with the appearance of being once the policies of a big house. The ground is wet which does not help as the place is being abused by illegal motorcyclists.

Leyland Avenue
New houses on the Torheads Farm site. The land in the foreground will also be built upon eventually. At this time (2011) house building is beginning to resume after a long period of inactivity following the failure of many banks in 2008. It is still extremely difficult to finance a property purchase with large deposits being normal.
