Faded notice at Chorlton Park Adult Learning Centre
Beneath the tags the sign reads: 'SOUTH MANCHESTER COMMUNITY COLLEGE DELIVERY VEHICLES ONLY'. That was the name under which the adult education centre was formerly operated, alongside several other sites in South Manchester.
This site, abutting Chorlton Park, was originally a primary school and senior elementary school, the senior school becoming Chorlton Park Secondary Modern in the 1940s, or shortly thereafter. The secondary school buildings were substantially extended in 1958/9. I assume that the now disused caretaker's bungalow (just visible here) is of a similar date.

Disused caretaker's bungalow and an abandoned pushchair
The house is within the grounds of the Chorlton Park Adult Learning Centre. This used to be Chorlton Park Secondary (Modern) School, but has been an adult education centre since at least the 1980s. The bungalow is probably contemporary with the large building to the right - a large extension which was constructed in 1958/9.
The faded sign on the railings reads 'SOUTH MANCHESTER COMMUNITY COLLEGE DELIVERY VEHICLES ONLY'. The pushchair is a mystery.

Metrolink Tram at Barlow Moor Road
Metrolink tram number 3062 arrives at the outbound platform at Barlow Moor Road on the route towards Manchester Airport.
The Barlow Moor Road tram stop is in the central reservation of Mauldeth Road West at its junction with Barlow Moor Road. It has two facing platforms for inbound (ie travelling towards Manchester) and outbound (ie travelling towards Manchester Airport) trams.

Disused bungalow at the former Chorlton Park Secondary School, Mauldeth Road West
This site, abutting Chorlton Park, was originally a primary school and senior elementary school, the senior school becoming a Secondary Modern in the 1940s, or shortly thereafter. The large building seen here is an extension dating from 1958/9. I assume that the now disused caretaker's bungalow is of a similar date.
Since at least the 1980s the secondary school buildings have been used for adult education, previously being part of South Manchester Community College and now styled the Chorlton Park Adult Learning Centre.

Businesses on Barlow Moor Road
Comparing with the scene on Streetview from 2008 "Press-On" an ironing service business has expanded to the left taking over a former "Claims" business into a dry cleaners. The premises to the left has changed from a "computer solutions" business into a picture-framers. To the right a former solicitors offices has become the "Premier Massala" takeaway.
