The house is within the grounds of the Chorlton Park Adult Learning Centre. This used to be Chorlton Park Secondary (Modern) School, but has been an adult education centre since at least the 1980s. The bungalow is probably contemporary with the large building to the right - a large extension which was constructed in 1958/9. The faded sign on the railings reads 'SOUTH MANCHESTER COMMUNITY COLLEGE DELIVERY VEHICLES ONLY'. The pushchair is a mystery.
