Old Milestone by the A24, London Road, North Cheam
Carved stone post by the A24, in parish of SUTTON AND CHEAM (SUTTON District), London Road, North Cheam, in front of Sainsbury's (formerly by Elmcroft Community Centre), on pavement in front of railings, on East side of road. Surrey limestone pillar, erected by the Epsom, Ewell, Tooting etc. turnpike trust in the 19th century.

In Fairlands Park
Fairlands Park is a rather uninteresting open space in North Cheam. This is near the entrance looking towards London Road (A24). These are the most colourful features in the park although I am not sure of their purpose.

Fairlands Park is a rather uninteresting open space in North Cheam. This is near the entrance from London Road (A24). There are two of these which are the most colourful features in the park although I am not sure of their purpose. They are certainly not picnic tables. London Road (A24) is beyond.
