Carved stone post by the A24, in parish of SUTTON AND CHEAM (SUTTON District), London Road, North Cheam, in front of Sainsbury's (formerly by Elmcroft Community Centre), on pavement in front of railings, on East side of road. Surrey limestone pillar, erected by the Epsom, Ewell, Tooting etc. turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- LONDON XII MILES Milestone Society National ID: SY_LA12.
