The Barn
Late 17th century building, with the brick section by the road being a cottage acting as a lodge to Ballands Hall (the house in the background). Next to it were stables and a barn, which have since been joined up as a single building.

8 The Old Street and Little Ballands
Buildings on The Old Street, attached to Ballands Hall (see Image). Little Ballands, on the right, dates originally from the early to mid 19th Century (although since altered) and is grade II listed - see www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1188851.

The Old Rectory
House on The Old Street built in 1905 as a replacement rectory for Ballands Hall. It ceased to be the rectory in 1932 and was subdivided into 4 flats in 1946.

Ballands Hall
Former rectory, built in the late 17th Century and altered in the subsequent two centuries. One of the residents in the 19th Century, Sir Francis Moon, was Lord Mayor of London in 1854. His son, Edward Moon, was rector of St Mary's Church, from 1854 to 1904. It ceased to be the rectory in 1905. Grade II listed - see www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1188828.

Rentwood
Building in School Lane, providing support services for the visually impaired and hard of hearing, through the charity Sight for Surrey, and also housing a resource centre for Surrey County Council care services. It was originally built as a dance hall, but was subsequently occupied by the wood treatment firm Rentokil until a fire in 1963 in adjacent storage tanks led their leaving the site, which was then sold to Surrey County Council the following year.
