Ballands Hall

Former rectory, built in the late 17th Century and altered in the subsequent two centuries. One of the residents in the 19th Century, Sir Francis Moon, was Lord Mayor of London in 1854. His son, Edward Moon, was rector of St Mary's Church, from 1854 to 1904. It ceased to be the rectory in 1905. Grade II listed - see www.historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1188828.
