On the south wall of the Trinity House Chapel is the original plaster model by Thomas Earle of the Thomas Ferres monument in Holy Trinity Church. In 1857 the Brethren decided to erect a more permanent monument in place of the wooden one which was in a dilapidated state. Mr Earle sent four sketches of his idea for the monument. The Brethren selected one depicting a shipwrecked mariner being tended by an angel, but asked the sculptor to alter the figure of the shipwrecked mariner to that of a worn-out seaman. The plaster model of the intended monument was placed in Holy Trinity Church for inspection and approval, and the actual monument was erected in place a year later. Eighteen years later Mr Earle's widow offered the House the plaster model of the monument for £15. The Brethren agreed to accept her offer, and the plaster model was duly erected on the south wall of the chapel. The text on the monument reads: 'Thomas Ferres an elder Brother of and great Benefactor of this House. Died 31st January 1650/1 aged 62.' [Based upon notes provided by Trinity House]

In Trinity House Chapel, the bell near the lectern commemorates the late Captain Ian North, an Old Boy of the school. He gave his life in the service of his country when his ship 'Atlantic Conveyor' was hit by two Argentine air-launched Exocet missiles on 25 May 1982 during the Falkland's campaign. The missiles were intended for the aircraft carrier Hermes but locked onto Captain North's vessel instead.
