The legislation for this operation is from the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014. Response (4 Jan 2024)We continue to address issues of rough sleepers and attend the Rough Sleeper Action group, every 2 weeks. We set actions during every meeting to tackle ASB and reduce Rough Sleeping in the City Centre, and calls to service regarding these individuals. We also chair meetings with local businesses to discuss how to deal with issues affecting their business to ensure that the City Centre remains attractive to businesses, new and old.
