Former St Thomas's Church, Station Road, Bradley
Home, since 1979, to the Greenhead Gymnastic Club. In 1997 they installed a second floor with a competition sprung surface. When I was taking this photo I thought the clock must still be working, because it was showing almost the correct time. However, other photos taken in 2006 & 2008 tell me otherwise.

See Image for a closer view. The church was Built 1863-65 by W.H. Crossland, later extended. The church was distant from the housing of the parish, so worship used ceased c.1974 and a new place of worship has replaced it. It is now (or was most recently) used as a gymnasium. Listed grade II (entry 1273979). This view of the spire is from the Calder Valley Greenway.
