See Image for a closer view. The church was Built 1863-65 by W.H. Crossland, later extended. The church was distant from the housing of the parish, so worship used ceased c.1974 and a new place of worship has replaced it. It is now (or was most recently) used as a gymnasium. Listed grade II (entry 1273979). This view of the spire is from the Calder Valley Greenway.
