Former Huddersfield General Post Office
Surprisingly, this imposing public building on Northumberland Street is not listed, although the four phone boxes outside it are (grade II, list entry 1226188).
The post office was designed by architect Charles Wilkinson and officially opened on 31 October 1914, with the Mayor of Huddersfield, Alderman J Blamires, posting the first letter. It closed in 2018 and appears not to have a new use yet. (source: Huddersfield Examiner, 18 June 2018).

The Head Post Office, Northumberland Street, Huddersfield
David Wyles, in 'The Buildings of Huddersfield' describes this as 'a full-bloodied example of Imperial Baroque, the early 20C revival of the Classical style. It was completed in 1914.
