Ealing Road Bridge, Paddington Arm, Grand Union Canal
This shows the west face of the bridge,which carries the A4005. It was a convenient point at which to leave today's walk, as rain was threatened and the attractions of the Pleasure Boat Inn and Alperton Piccadilly Line station suddenly seemed to outweigh the charms of the Paddington Arm.

Alperton bus garage
The garage was opened in 1939 by the London Passenger Transport Board and this is the main exit out onto the A4089 Ealing Road. It has a capacity for 130 buses. As ever the internet provides a source for some group with a dedicated interest and London's bus garages are no exception! From a purely Geograph point of view (another dedicated interest!) the bus garage straddles both this grid square and Image, with the bulk of it in the other square. However this corner is definitely in Image, and the 518000 Easting grid line probably passes somewhere through the left side of the opening.
