This shows the west face of the bridge, which carries the A4005. It was a convenient point at which to leave today's walk, as rain was threatened and the attractions of the Pleasure Boat Inn and Alperton Piccadilly Line station suddenly seemed to outweigh the charms of the Paddington Arm.
