Colquhoun Road, Milton
The view is as in Image, but a year and some months later, with more greenery in the background. The view is from a route called the Crags Circular Path, which leads uphill to the left.

Colquhoun Road, Milton
The view is from further along a path that is shown in Image That path is part of a route called the Crags Circular Path; it does not follow Colquhoun Road, but instead continues along the path that can be seen at the far left in the present picture. See Image for a similar view, a year and some months later. Not far uphill, the path passes the end of Image, but, again, does not follow the road. Relative to the present view, there is, out of shot to the left, a signpost beside the path: Image There is also a stile beside that signpost, leading into an adjacent field; the path, though, does not enter that field: Image

Lennox Road, Milton
After passing the western end of Image, a path that is part of a route called the Crags Circular Path passes the western end of Lennox Road, shown here on the right. See Image for a later picture (taken the following year). The path continues, with houses to the right, and a field to the left (see the 1:25000 map). The path itself can be seen swinging off to the left. For a view from further ahead, see Image

Signpost beside a path to Milton Brae
The picture was taken from about the same spot as Image, but the view is, relative to that picture, to the left. The side of Dumbuck Quarry can be seen in the background. The path is part of a route called the Crags Circular Path. The text on the signs is as follows: (Left, leading downhill) "Path / Milton Inn / 200 yds". (Right) "Path / Milton Brae / ⅓ Mile". Though obscured from view, there is a stile behind and to the right of the signpost, at the edge of the adjacent field: Image

Stile at the edge of a field
The picture was taken from almost the same spot as Image, but the view is in the opposite direction. The stile is behind and to the right of the signpost shown in Image, but it is obscured from view by a tree in that picture. The present picture was taken from a route called the Crags Circular Path. That route does not enter this field. At the far right, in the background, is part of Dumbuck Quarry, as seen in the picture of the signpost. The River Clyde can also be seen in the background.

Path from Milton Brae
This is the reverse of the view in Image The trees and lamp post that appear on the left in that picture can be seen directly ahead in the present photograph. The path is part of a route called the Crags Circular Path. Followed in this direction, it turns left, not far ahead, to follow a short section of road downhill to meet (and cross) the A82, as shown in Image

Path to Milton Brae
Another photograph, Image, shows a short section of road leaving the A82 to lead uphill. The present picture is taken from the top of that road. As mentioned in the description for that picture, a route called the Crags Circular Path follows that road to this point, and then continues in the form of a path. That path passes the gate that can be seen not far ahead, and then continues directly ahead, beyond the left-hand side of the gate. (For a view from that gate, looking back to the point from which the present picture was taken, see Image) The houses on the right are on Image, but the Crags Circular Path does not follow that road; it instead follows a route between the houses and the field on the left.
