Viaduct Place, E2: parked market stall
The market on Bethnal Green Road was in full swing but the empty stall here and the other visible a little down Viaduct Street to the right were not needed.
In the background, Weavers Fields park (whose expansion reduced the streets seen here to tiny stubs) and in particular the adventure playground in its north-east corner.

Viaduct Street, E2
Before the expansion of Weavers Fields park, Viaduct Street ran all the way from Bethnal Green Road down to the railway, past the church of St Andrew (Viaduct Street), now demolished. The view would presumably have been something like the adjacent Wilmot Street (Image). Only this little stub remains at its northern end.
